Sambalpuri Handloom Ikat Cotton Saree

Sambalpuri Sarees have a GI tag and are made by the 'Bhulia' community residing in Western Odisha mainly Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, and adjoining areas. The "Bhulia" community has shown creative excellence by designing innumerable patterns and motifs according to the demands of the customer. The beauty lies in the fact that the designs are theme-based and suitable for casual as well as festive occasions.

There may be unevenness in the selvage and the weave. There may be a loose thread on the backside of the saree. These are the signs of a handloom, handwoven saree. Be happy!
